Thunder are pleased to announce their Easter Camp running 14th-18th April
9am-4pm everyday. The camp is open to all players 11-17 years. Please bring your own packed lunch.

Costs: £60 per player for the week
Coach Rob Newson & Josef Butor will run the camp.

Worthing Thunder 99 - 78 Sheffield Arrows

Barkers (Tarring) Worthing Thunder returned to winning ways on Saturday night with a 99-78 victory over Sheffield Arrows in front of their largest crowd of the season.  American forward Cleve Woodfork had game highs in both points scored (21) and rebounds (14).

Worthing Thunder announce BBL intentions

Worthing Thunder Basketball Club has today announced its intention to seek membership of the British Basketball League, the top flight in British basketball, for the season beginning September 2008.

Some changes to the ownership structure of the club are expected to occur next season whatever the outcome of the application to join the BBL. A new Board of Directors and a new administrative and management team will be introduced to seek to make a move into the BBL successful for the club and for the town of Worthing.

The club intends to hold a public meeting on Thursday 28 February at 8pm at Worthing Leisure Centre to outline its plans to supporters, other members of the public and potential new sponsors.

03 February 2008 - Thunder through to second final.

Worthing Thunder 96 - 88 Manchester Magic

Barkers (Tarring) Worthing Thunder progressed to the National Trophy final with a 96-88 semi final victory over Manchester Magic in Worthing on Sunday afternoon.

They will meet Reading in the final to be played in Manchester on the 2nd March.

Reading Rockets 71 - 76 Worthing Thunder

Barkers (Tarring) Worthing Thunder returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 76-71 victory away at League challengers Reading Rockets.

James Mooney was the man to stand-out; leading Thunder to a well deserved victory and ensuring that they were able to rest fellow import Demetrius Scott for half the match.

Manchester Magic 104 - 89 Worthing Thunder

Thunder's quest for the National Trophy continues after a hard-fought but ultimately fruitless effort at Derby. Manchester Magic retained the trophy after despatching an understrength Thunder side with key import player Demetrius Scott recovering from injury and not match fit.
