The Thunder forum/message board has been set up to enable followers, fans and supporters of the Thunder to post comments, questions or general 'chit-chat' concerning the Club.

You are free to post any articles on this site but be aware that any material deemed unsuitable, offensive, defamatory, obscene or otherwise will be removed and the originator of such comments will be prevented from further postings. Please notify the board moderators of any unsuitable postings.

Supporters Club Information:

The Supporters' Club exists to promote the good image of Basketball as a Family spectator sport and also to promote and support Worthing Thunder Basketball Club.

It raises money through membership subscriptions, table sales at home matches, raffles, half-time shoot-outs and functions.  Please help support the team further by becoming a member of the Supporters’ Club, visiting the table and purchasing raffle tickets.

Membership: Membership for the season is just £6 for adults and £4 for children under 16 yrs.

New for this season: Junior supporters get a welcome pack, a signed card on their birthday, and the opportunity to become a match night team mascot.

Membership of the Supporters’ Club entitles you to a 10% discount off purchases from the Supporters’ Club table, entry to Supporters’ Club events held during the season and a substantial discount on away travel.

Transport to away matches: Away travel for the team is paid for and arranged via the Supporters' Club, so monies raised are returned to the club. 

We will try to provide away travel for supporters to all games, but this must be cost effective and we can only do so if the minibus will not run at an overall loss.  If you are interested in going to an away game, please speak to Dave Marshall on (01903) 529241 or at a home game. 

Anyone who can assist with driving to away matches on a casual basis is asked to speak to the supporters' club table at any home game.

Stewards: The Stewards are all volunteers and help set up the arena, ensure the safety of spectators and clear away afterwards. We are always looking for stand-by stewards, so if you can help, please leave your details at the table.
